As 2016 stumbles to a close, I gotta say, it’s been a weird one. I wrote recently about the deaths I have seen, and now my mind is trying to figure out all this poo-litical stuff. The two big ones are of course Trump and Brexit.
That’s about the only word I can find for this.
I was thinking to share some files with a group I belong to on Facebook. I could also use my own cloud server (ownCloud) but I know Facebook groups will also handle files. Then I remembered that famous clause the T&C, that if we upload content to FB, then they own it.
So .. all those nasty videos and pictures we see on Facebook? Hmm …
The sharp dressed man. Every girl crazy ’bout a sharp dressed man. They crop up all over the place, even at church. In fact when it comes to church, most of us make some effort to scrub up. We might pull on a fresh shirt, a clean pair of pants and drag a brush through our hair. The scruffy t-shirt and dirty jeans get put in the wash basket and left at home. It’s nice to feel smart, and be around smartly dressed people.
First impressions do count. When we first meet someone, we make a myriad of decisions about them. Some of these will be accurate, some will be less accurate. How we see someone will determine how we treat them. Continue reading
