As 2016 stumbles to a close, I gotta say, it’s been a weird one. I wrote recently about the deaths I have seen, and now my mind is trying to figure out all this poo-litical stuff. The two big ones are of course Trump and Brexit.
I was thinking to share some files with a group I belong to on Facebook. I could also use my own cloud server (ownCloud) but I know Facebook groups will also handle files. Then I remembered that famous clause the T&C, that if we upload content to FB, then they own it.
So .. all those nasty videos and pictures we see on Facebook? Hmm …
The Bishop of Sheffield, Steven Croft, has lashed out (or as much as English Bishops do lash out) in response to cinemas banning a simple video of people reciting the Lord’s prayer. So .. when I read this I went through a whole range of emotions over a few short minutes. Ranging from, “Is this April 1st?” to “How do explain my own perspective?”. On one hand I am freaking out a little, on the other hand .. I’m only freaking out a little.
